This policy covers how the Fort Bend History Association treats personal information that it collects and receives through memberships on fbhistory.org, www.fortbendmuseum.org, www.georgeranch.org. We never sell any information about you; we only use information shared with us for purposes of communication and running and improving our services to you.
INFORMATION WE GATHER
We use a template from Weebly.com to maintain our website at www.fbhistory.org and www.fortbendmuseum.org. For information on Weebly’s privacy policy, click here. We collect information about you when you register to become a member, send us a donation or request to join the e-newsletter mailing list. This information may include your name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone numbers. In order to improve our website and services to you, we also have analytics programs installed through Weebly and Google Analytics. For a link to Google Analytics’ privacy policy, click here. Information collected for analytics purposes may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and/or clickstream data. IP addresses may be used to estimate the total number of users visiting the Fort Bend History Association’s, Fort Bend Museum’s or George Ranch Historical Park’s websites from specific geographical regions and help monitor and prevent fraud and abuse.
BILLING INFORMATION
We have accounts with PayPal and Authorize.net for purchasing tickets to an event, a membership or historic meals. We require your billing information in order to process any transaction (name, mailing address, credit card number, CCV number and expiration date at a minimum). Once your transaction is complete, your information is destroyed and is never saved or sold for any reason.

We do not share, sell, rent or trade personal information with any third parties. You may opt out of emails you receive from the Fort Bend History Association, Fort Bend Museum, DeWalt Heritage Center or George Ranch Historical Park by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those emails.
If you post a comment on one of our blogs, you have the ability to post content which may include personal information about yourself. Blog comments can be seen by the public and they may use the information you provide to send unsolicited messages or promotions that are not affiliated with the Fort Bend History Association, Fort Bend Museum, DeWalt Heritage Center or George Ranch Historical Park.
